A Fireside Chat and Glamping with Constantin De Slizewicz at Farm Fjord

Last weekend, we hosted Constantin De Slizewicz and ten adventure-loving guests for a memorable fireside chat and glamping experience at Farm Fjord. Nestled in a quiet bamboo forest, our time together was filled with captivating stories, laughter, and great food.

Constantin, an author and explorer, shared his fascination with the history of late 19th and early 20th-century expeditions, inspired by his time studying in Beijing and writing about Yunnan and Tibet. As the sun set, we gathered around the campfire, sipping Yunnan wines and beers, and enjoyed a simple yet delicious dinner of steak and mushrooms on rice.

Our campfire chat carried on late into the night, with Augustin sharing some exquisite French wine and bourbon. The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, we embarked on a canoeing adventure to Heartland, a hand-crafted canoe-making workshop and organic farm designed by local architect Daxiong.

As we paddled back to Farm Fjord, the sun began to set on our unforgettable weekend. Constantin's stories, the shared laughter around the campfire, and the bonds formed will remain with us for a lifetime.
